Development of Palm Oilbased Polyols and Polyurethane Products in MPOB
Nurul ‘Ain Hanzah*, Tuan Noor Maznee Tuan Ismail*, Srihanum Adnan*, Norhayati Mohd Noor*, Mohd Norhisham Sattar*, Arniza Mohd Zan*, Kosheela Devi Poo Palam*, Zailan Abu Bakar*, Noorazah Zolkarnain*, Hoong Seng Soi* and Yeong Shoot Kian*Polyurethanes (PU) are polymeric materials used in a wide variety of applications to create all kinds of consumer and industrial products that make our lives more comfortable. PU is a product that most people are not overly familiar with because it is generally ‘hidden’ behind covers or surfaces made of other materials.
